This is one of the more recent drinks that we have tried out, and we like it quite a bit. We are posting it in honor of Father’s day. A toast to our dads — we wish we could make one of these for you guys this weekend.
It was inspired by one of the first drinks that Z discovered and liked after moving to New York — a liquid cocaine. There are many variants of the drink, not-so-creatively named liquid cocaine 2, 3, and 4 (at least in Z’s drink recipe book), as well as liquid crack… This one is a variant on those. Give it a shot. It may become your drug of choice…
Drug of Choice
(Yields 1 drink)
.75 oz Bacardi Rum (151 proof if you have it)
.75 oz Jaegermeister
.75 oz peppermint schnapps
.75 oz scotch (we used Dewar’s White Label)
Mix, drop in an ice cube, and celebrate!

Slowly sipped over time, this looks like it would be delicious but likely to induce a state of tipsiness.
If sipped quickly it looks like it could induce a mild to moderate state of coma.
Maybe this is one you could preventively take Alka Seltzer Gold and Ibuprofen before you drink it?
We skip the 151 and just use regular rum. I think no amount of Ibu could prevent that hangover!
